What stays the same everywhere
Freehold ownership is open to all nationalities in designated areas, UAE residency is not required to buy, purchases are registered with the Dubai Land Department, and off-plan instalments are paid into project escrow accounts. The UAE levies no annual property tax and no tax on rental income for individual owners.
What changes by country
Your home-country tax and reporting duties, how much you can remit and by which route, mortgage availability for non-residents of your profile, and the currency pair you are exposed to between reservation and handover.
What we do not advise on
We are property advisors, not tax or legal advisors. We give you the UAE-side facts in writing and recommend you confirm your home-country position with a qualified accountant before committing capital.
Property investment involves risk. Rental income, capital appreciation and projected returns are estimates and are not guaranteed. Figures shown are based on developer payment terms and comparable market rents at the date stated, and may change. This is information, not financial advice.
